Before I started using headphones at cultural events in museums, I thought it would create a distance between the audience and the artists or speakers. On the contrary, the quality of listening is increased tenfold. You feel at the heart of the event. Every word, every sound can be savoured in all its subtlety. The coldness usually attributed to the use of technology is replaced here by the warmth of a sound, of a voice creating a bubble, an intimate sphere that allows us to escape while respecting the other visitors.
